I started Taekwon do in August 1990 with the T.A.G.B where I worked my way through the promotions to gain my first degree black belt and to become a fully qualified instructor. I also went on to become an umpire and referee in order to assist in competitions.
As the years went on I furthered myself in my Taekwon do career joining other groups including the UKTF and P.U.M.A. organisations before moving on to ITF Scotland. I am currently a 6th Degree Black Belt International Instructor, as well as the only Fully Qualified TKD Tigers instructor for the Falkirk and Grangemouth area.
Having competed for 18 years I have now retired from competitions having won several titles including the Scottish, British, European, Welsh and retired winning silver at the P.U.M.A. Welsh Championships in 2008.
I now concentrate on teaching and coaching, preparing students for their own competitions, and am now running specific squad training sessions for all who wish to compete.
